Jake's on Market was lovingly owned by Tim Travelstead and Brad Becker, long-time Castro residents who gavetheir son Jake a reason to finally want to eat dinner with his parents.

With Executive Chef Joshua Felciano presiding over a seasonally changing menu, cooked with local and sustainable ingredients, our menu had something for every taste and budget. To compliment your meal, our full bar served everything from a Cosmo to Jack & Coke, and just about everything in between.

Jake's believed in treating its customers, employees, community and local vendors with respect. All full-time employees received health insurance fully paid for by Jake's. It's just the right way to do business. We were not just located in the Castro, we're a part of it. Our community room was available, free of charge, for non-profit organizations to hold small meetings.
